Vince Wenos
Vince Wenos is senior vice president and chief technology officer (CTO) for Allegion.
In this role, he is responsible for global engineering and related technology development, driving both product and process innovation across Allegion’s businesses.
Known as a strategic thinker and collaborative leader, Vince has more than 30 years of engineering, product development and business leadership experience. His background includes a variety of global leadership positions, including roles with a focus on innovation, productivity and business collaboration at companies such as Stanley Black & Decker, United Technologies and Delphi Automotive.
Vince joined Allegion in November 2016 as vice president, global mechanical products, and he was subsequently promoted to vice president of Americas engineering and technology. Joining Allegion’s Executive Leadership Team in 2019, Vince uses his wide range of experiences to help position Allegion globally for the technical transformation impacting the security industry.
An active member of the community, Vince has served as an industry advisory council member for the Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis Office of the Chancellor. In this volunteer-based role, he helped identify industry trends, innovation and research opportunities, while also assisting in the development of strategic plans to bridge the industry-academia gap. Vince is now actively involved in the Greater Indianapolis chapter of Habitat for Humanity – from serving as a panel build team leader to volunteering to oversee teams for both new construction and renovation projects.
Vince has earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, a Master of Science in Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
