Stacy Cozad is senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for Allegion. 

In this role, Stacy leads the strategy and execution of all legal matters, including compliance, acquisitions and divestitures, securities, corporate governance, commercial contracts, intellectual property, sales and marketing, litigation, labor, employment and employee benefit law. She additionally has responsibility for Allegion’s trade compliance, enterprise risk management and corporate communications functions.

Stacy joined Allegion in 2024, bringing with her nearly 30 years of experience spanning law, public affairs, compliance, sustainability, corporate communications and cybersecurity.

Prior to Allegion, Stacy served as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Ingevity Corporation, a publicly traded global provider of specialty chemicals that help make the world more sustainable. 

Stacy’s background also includes time at publicly traded Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc., where she served as senior vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary. Prior, she worked at Southwest Airlines Co., first as senior attorney and then as associate general counsel.

Stacy earned her juris doctor degree magna cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law.
