Danielle W. is the marketing manager at AXA Bike Security and has worked at Allegion for over 5 years. She has a background in various marketing areas, specializing in online marketing and the customer journey. As a marketing manager, Danielle understands the importance of staying up to date with the latest trends and finding new ways to innovate and help customers through Allegion's products.

What does innovation mean to you?

To me, innovation means creating new products to keep clients interested in your brand. This can be something completely new and innovative or it can be something to make an existing product better.

What does "be curious beyond the obvious" mean to you?

Being curious beyond the obvious means consciously thinking about what you are doing and how you can change and improve challenges you run into. It's important to keep evolving on a daily basis.

What does "this is your business, run with it" mean to you?

I look at Allegion like it is my own company. I take responsibility for the business and work every day like I want the very best for the organization and everyone that works for it - including myself!

What are other ways you innovate?

I participated in the 2019 Allegion Trailblazer competition on Team Light Your Way. During the competition, our team developed a front and rear bicycle light that are connected via Bluetooth and can be controlled with an app. Additionally, the light can be connected to Google Maps and will blink to provide the bicyclist with turn-by-turn directions and notify other road users of the bicycle's path, allowing the bicyclist to keep their hands safely on the handlebars. Having the opportunity to compete against my colleagues was a really cool experience and a great outlet for innovation.
